Your Mom

I think I'm getting sick. I've been over working myself lately. School is demanding and especially now that work is "on hold" for the semester, Ive been getting more into projects lately. I have finished my sculpture (like a week ago) and I hope to post some pics of it soon. (Its of Stalking Cat or "tiger man") It's my second one so far and I like working with clay. ;p

Artwork is ok I guess...not sure where a lot of it is headed. Sometimes I feel kind of awkward in the Illustration program. I really just want to draw animals all day :ignore: I think its what I might do for my thesis show. Just a huge field study of the creatures I make up...along with a sculpture of the Morray Cula

I would like him to be about the size of a smaller golden retriever. hopefully I can get something that big done before next fall (2009) pretty scary to be graduating so soon...I'm ready though. It will be nice to not be in school anymore

Still haven't heard from Wizards of the Coast yet :tears: I'm pretty bummed. I still have the contacts though So I'm planning to put together some new creatures and whatnot to show them as well as PIXAR...ugh...I don't even want to think about it. I'm not looking forward to Junior Review either. :x I'm sure it will go over well enough. Its just a lot to think about in the next few weeks...April will be the next portfolio send out. I might put a few other companies on my list as well. Blizzard, Massive Black ...and maybe even Weta...although I doubt I have the balls yet...lol...it depends on how well the new portfolio turns out. I might wait until summer to send it to Weta...when I have time to pace around my apartment...

All is well though...The cats are good and the aquariums are doing rather well lately....I would like to do a painting of Buddha soon. I would love a giant painting of my Goldfish on my wall. :boogie:

I have a month's Subscription (for those that may not have noticed) so I might put a few thumbnails in here of images I think anyone who reads this might like to look at while I have the ability to do so not to mention it might help me practice writing about artwork  ...so yeah

- I love these paintings. They have such amazing underlying stories. The angles, lighting and expression are just wonderfully captured. The technique is expressive, strong and sure of itself. A gallery worth visiting for sure. by :icongeirrodvandyke:

- The line work in this artist's images has so much energy and a lot of personality. Each image has a very meticulous yet spontaneous look to it that is complimented beautifully with a limited color palette. A high level of draftsmanship for sure! This gallery will make you smile. by :iconolivier2046:

I think two is good enough for tonight....

I'm off to bed ...I'm tired and I have to figure out how to construct my own set of vertical blinds by tomorrow night...

whee...
